2024 Honda Accord Release Date and Price Estimations

The Accord has been produced since 1976 by Honda. It has been sitting at the list of top-selling in the USA since 1989, especially for the 4-door saloon version. Various body type variants of this vehicle all over the world have been using this nameplate, such as hatchbacks, estates, coupes, and crossover.

Regarding the arrival date of the all-new generation Accord, there have been some debates going on. According to one source, it will roll out as a 2023 model year and make its official debut by late 2022. However, another source states that there’s a possibility that it will arrive by early 2023, which makes it the 2024 Honda Accord launch as the result in the US market.

Honda hasn’t unveiled the official date yet, but expect more details-including of its pricing-to be dropped in the coming months. On other hand, it is expected that the new gen of this mid-size sedan will be offered at the starting price of approximately $26,000 for its entry-level trim, the LX variant.

Possible Exterior and Interior Redesigns

Throughout the first half of 2022, multiple spy photographs and emerged patent images of the new Accord have floating around the internet. Accordingly, it seems to carry the similar size as the current model. However, the design is expected to go through a huge transformation which is potentially inspired from the new generation Civic.

Prompted by these sources, a rendering was made by Kelsonik, a digital artist that adjusts the pixelated images to become an extremely realistic imagery of the model. The result shows that the 2024 Honda Accord sports thinner headlights in comparison to the previous generation. The bumper, grille, fenders, hood, roof, profile, mirror case, side skirts, and other elements also seem to meet improvements. This digital rendering uses finishing paint in white, which is the favorite amongst the consumers.

Unfortunately, what’s captured by the spy photographs stops at the exterior part and no detail is known about the interior yet. That being said, it’s safe to assume the inside part of the new Accord will offer some huge changes, judging from the new Civic that brings neater design and enhanced infotainment and tech features.

A use of material with nicer quality across the cabin and the most recent technology features are expected. It is safe to assume that the 2024 Honda Accord will provide elements such as touchscreen infotainment system display, charging pad for smart devices, wireless smartphone integration options (Android Auto and Apple CarPlay), premium sound setup, and many more. A set of active and passive safety features is also predicted to be offered such as adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition, lane-keeping assistance, and so on.

Potential Internal Combustion and Hybrid Engine Options

The 2024 Honda Accord is very likely to bring hybrid powertrain, but it possibly won’t be the mere option for the new lineup. The engines of the current Accord potentially make a round again in the upcoming model. For information, there are the 1.5L 4-cylinder that generates 192 HP (143 kW) or 252 HP (187 kW) available for the internal combustion version. Meanwhile, the hybrid variant produces 212 HP (158 kW) as an alternative.

Aside from the 2024 Honda Accord that offers ICE- and hybrid technology-powered models, you may also expect another EV crossover from Honda to debut as 2023 model year by the end of 2022.
